On November 24th 2022 , my phone broke. We were in a shopping center, in St Jean sur Richelieu and we see a La Source store, so we go in and inquire about a new phone. They say sure but you will need a contract but I say I am with a provider but he says I can beat their price by 10$ a month, for my 2 lines. I said great. So the lies, had already started. First he said I cannot beat your price but I can give you a great deal and the phone is included. I say ok but at what price? So for 5$ more a month I get a way better phone , than what I had , he says. More lies , the phone, he gave me, was garbage, I could not hang up with it , even, no red phone button, etc. Our contract stipulated , if you are not satisfied within 10 days, we can cancel our contract, free of charge. So we return the phone, after 8 days and switch back to our old provider on the same day. Since then, Virgin Plus has been harassing us to pay for the phone , which we returned and we have proof. The employee signed the contract saying it was returned on the 1st of December of 2022. Our contract also stipulated that our activation of our 2 lines was free and they want us to pay for that, also and the use of their service!!! The ten day grace period was respected by us , so why don t they!? If they want us to pay something , our contract was for 86.00$/month for 2 lines , including the phone , so we owe 2.87 per day x 8 = around 23.00$, minus my registered letter of 10.00$ , not 237.57$ , that they are asking! I sent them a registered letter to Virgin Plus Avenue Asquith Toronto ON. M4W 1J7 , no response and we are still getting, the emails , saying , we owe them. I can tell you, I will never deal, with La Source or Virgin Plus , ever again. I am thinking about going to Small Claims court, to sue them for harassment , for the max allowed, under Québec law.
